2009-2010 CARMA International Video Library Program Overview

*Please note that the CARMA International Video Library Program is not available for universities located in the United States and Canada. If your university is located in the United States or Canada, please visit our page for the CARMA Consortium Webcast Program.

The CARMA International Initiative focuses on connecting with the global academic methods community. We are led by our belief in the value and importance of the research methods educational services we offer.

We are pleased to announce the 2009-2010 CARMA International Video Library Program, which is exclusively for international universities. The CARMA International Video Library Program is a paid university-wide level membership to our extensive Video Library with 49 one-hour video lectures. Ten additional recorded lectures will be added over the course of the academic year (2009-2010). The videos can be watched as a group or individually, as many times as you like. In the classroom, the CARMA Video Library is an important learning tool as many of our past and current member universities’ instructors use our videos to enhance their teaching syllabus. Instructors also find our videos exceptionally valuable as they provide insight into current issues in research methods and give students an opportunity to hear from experts in the field of research methods. The CARMA Video Library works by enhancing knowledge and application of research methods and by providing a basis of discussion and debate.
Our Video Library features videos from internationally recognized scholars on a variety of research methods (including qualitative and quantitative) and can be used to give students exposure and experience into different areas of research methods. We add variety to the class and variation in teaching by enriching the learning experience. Through visual media, the CARMA International Video Library Program is an excellent learning resource available to international member organizations. See below the list of the speakers and topics currently in the CARMA Video Library.
