The 2010 CARMA Summer Short Course Programs include 13 short courses on research methods and data analysis topics. Summer Short Course Program One will be held at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA from May 17 to May 22, 2010. Summer Short Course Program Two will be held at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan from June 21 – June 23, 2010.

Each of the short courses lasts two and a half days and includes an equal balance of lecture and computer lab time with hands-on experience, with an emphasis on the application of the methodology. Our instructors are nationally recognized within the organizational studies and management areas as experts on their topics, and several are current or past editors of leading organizational journals. CARMA registration fees for these events are very reasonable (they include lunches and one dinner).

Each person may register for one course per session (fees are charged per course). CARMA has enjoyed considerable success in providing a stimulating and comfortable environment for learning research methods and data analysis (Click here for an evaluation summary pdf the 2008 Summer Short Courses).
