The 2009 CARMA Summer Short Course Program includes 13 short courses on research methods and data analysis topics and will be hosted in two consecutive sessions during the week of May 11 (Monday) to May 16 (Saturday) at Virginia Commonwealth University (Richmond, VA). Each person may register for one course per session (fees are charged per course). Each of the short courses lasts two and a half days and includes an equal balance of lecture and computer lab time with hands-on experience, with an emphasis on the application of the methodology. Our instructors are nationally recognized within the organizational studies and management areas as experts on their topics, and several are current or past editors of leading organizational journals. CARMA registration fees for these events are very reasonable (they include lunches and one dinner), and low cost accommodations are readily available within walking distance of VCU. CARMA has enjoyed considerable success in providing a stimulating and comfortable environment for learning research methods and data analysis (Click here for an evaluation summary pdf the 2008 Summer Short Courses).
